advntg MCP — Reference

For setup and first steps, see the Beta Quick Start.

When asking about performance, specify the app and time period whenever possible. Otherwise, the agent may use default values.

Prompt library

Spend

Use these to understand where budget is going and how spend changes over time.

Show spend by week for the last 90 days
Total spend by app for the last 30 days
Spend by network for the last 30 days
Total spend by campaign for the last 14 days
Top countries by spend
Show monthly spend by creative creation month

The last query helps you see whether spend is going to newer creatives or whether you're still relying on older ones.

Performance metrics

Available metrics:

Clicks, impressions, installs, CPI, CTR, CPM

You can break them down by app, network, country, or over time.

CTR by network for the last 30 days
CPI by week for [app name]
Installs by country for the last 30 days
Impressions by app for the last 30 days
CPM by country for the last 30 days

Winners, breakouts & creative fatigue

Top creatives by spend for the last 90 days
Best CPI creatives for the last 30 days
Which creatives are rising?
Which creatives are declining?
Which campaigns is [creative name] running in?

Rising and declining are based on changes in spend velocity within the selected period, not simply total spend.

This helps surface emerging breakouts and creatives that may be starting to fatigue.

Creative pairing

Use pairing queries to understand what has already been tested and identify new test opportunities.

Show uploaded pairs for [creative name] in [app name]

Shows which creatives have already been paired with the selected creative and what happened.

Recommended pairs for [creative name] in [app name]

Finds creatives that have not yet been tested with it but already have spend.

Top spend creatives from [app A] that are not uploaded in [app B]

Finds cross-app gaps: proven creatives in one app that have not yet been tested in another.

Media library

Find 9:16 videos in the media library

Creative production & utilization

Use these to understand how much of your creative output is actually being tested and how quickly it reaches campaigns.

Synced vs tested creatives over the last 6 months
Average time from sync to first test
Uploads by network for the last 90 days
Uploads by campaign for the last 30 days

Publishing

Publishing always follows the draft → review → confirmation → publish flow.

Nothing is sent to the ad network until you explicitly confirm the final draft.

Meta

Create a new campaign:

Publish creative [creative name] as a new traffic campaign,
$50 daily budget, target US, link [url]

You can also publish into an existing campaign and ad set.

AppLovin

Publish creatives [list] to campaign [campaign name]
in paired mode, target US and JP

Manage live Meta ads

Pause ad [ad name]
Resume ad [ad name]
Scale ad [ad name] into ad sets [list], keeping the social proof

Scaling creates new ads while preserving the original post and its social proof.

Upload history & re-uploads

Every publish creates a task in the activity log.

Reviewing recent uploads

Show my last 5 uploads. For each one, list which creatives went through
and which didn't, and why

Keep the list short — each upload is expanded individually.

Checking a publish you just made

Check the publish status for last upload

Diagnosing and fixing a failed upload

My last upload didn't fully land. Show me what got rejected and where —
down to ad set if the network has them. Mark anything you inferred rather
than read directly. Is this creative-side or account-side? If account-side,
don't build a re-upload. If creative-side, build one for the failed items
only and show me before publishing

A re-upload only helps with creative-side failures. Account or billing issues will fail again the same way.

Re-uploading what failed

Show my last partially succeeded upload. Republish only the combinations
that failed — not the ones that already went through. Show me the final
list before publishing

A task can span multiple campaigns, so re-uploading the whole task would duplicate combinations that already succeeded.

Network-specific behavior

AppLovin

Only App (Axon) campaigns are currently supported for publishing.

Creative groups must be explicitly confirmed before publishing. The agent will not mark them as approved automatically.

Two build modes are available:

Paired

  • 1 video + 1 end card, or
  • 1 standalone playable per ad group

Bundle

  • up to 10 videos + 10 end cards per ad group

Meta

Two publishing flows are supported:

New campaign

  • campaign
  • ad set
  • ad

Existing campaign

  • adds a new ad to an existing ad set

You can use different media for different placements, including:

  • Feed
  • Story
  • Search

When scaling a winning ad, new ads are created paused. The original ad is not changed.

Current network coverage

MCP currently supports:

  • Meta
  • AppLovin

Unity and Google are not yet available through MCP.

Media library notes

Network compatibility filter

We recommend leaving the network compatibility filter off unless you specifically need it.

Not all media files have complete compatibility metadata yet, so enabling the filter may hide creatives that are actually valid for the selected network.

Using advntg with other connectors

If the same AI chat also has access to other connectors such as Slack, email, or browser content, information from those sources may become part of the context the agent uses.

Always review the final publishing draft before confirming.

Troubleshooting

An app or creative can't be found

Search is sensitive to spelling.

Ask:

What apps do I have access to in advntg?

Then use the app name returned by the agent.

The numbers don't look right

Restate the query with the app, time period, and network explicitly.

You can also ask:

What app, time period, network, and filters did you use for this
calculation?

advntg tools disappeared or didn't load

Restart your MCP client and reconnect the advntg connector.

A re-upload can't tell which file failed

That task doesn't have granular enough error details to identify the file. Open the task in the activity log, or re-upload the affected campaign separately.

Feedback

You can send feedback directly from chat:

Send feedback: [your message]

The most useful feedback includes:

  • the exact prompt you used;
  • what you expected;
  • what happened instead.
